There’s a common misconception outside of higher ed that summer is an easy time of year, the work effortless.

We know better.

While the chaos and frenetic energy may indeed simmer down, the workload can be unrelenting as we shift toward the academic year ahead. It’s a different kind of work but no less challenging or important. Summer can be just as busy ramping up for what’s next.

And so it is with Workday Student. Our summer will be very busy hitting that first milestone in July. Testing, training, and deploying will be a different kind of work from the configuration and data validation, yet just as important. These next few weeks will be a critical time to ensure what we’ve imagined is transformed into what’s real. And that’s pretty exciting when you think about it!

So while we spend these summer months building something bigger, be sure to take some time to enjoy a frozen drink or an ice cream cone in the shade. It’s all blue skies and sunshine ahead!
