2024 is going to be a landmark year for the University of Arkansas System and our Cohort 1 institutions as we reach the finish line of our Workday Student deployment. And those first two critical milestones are right around the corner in just a matter of weeks. Whew!

Historically, the new year has become symbolic for a fresh start, but it can also signal a renewed commitment to a goal, the outgrowth of inspiration combined with intention. Resolutions are the promises we make to hold ourselves accountable.

We have that new year energy pushing us toward the next go live. Know that Project One is right there with you, supporting you and cheering you on. Making the move to Workday is no small thing— the time and efforts you’ve invested have been significant.

At the end of this journey, Workday Student will…

• make transferring between campuses faster and easier;
• result in cost-savings from eliminating outdated processes and legacy systems no longer supported;

• and offer more self-service capability, giving students greater autonomy and tools to shape their degree plan.
